FS One (Released in 2006)

FS One -- Precision RC Flight Simulator

Ever since their college-years in the early 1980s, Brian and his former college roommate, Michael Selig, had discussed creating a flight simulator for radio-controlled aircraft.

In 2002, they created a small, custom flight simulator for the Discovery Channel show "Unsolved History: Death of the Red Baron". The show first aired in December 2002.

About six months later, they had some initial discussions with Horizon Hobby, exploring the possibility of creating a radio-controlled (RC) flight simulator.

In December 2003 (roughly twenty years after first discussing the idea of creating an RC simulator), they founded a company, InertiaSoft, and began development of an RC flight simulator that would become FS One.

After an intense, three year long development period involving a team of over twenty people, InertiaSoft's first product, FS One, appeared in stores in October 2006. Within a few months, FS One had achieved worldwide sales.

FS One provides a means for people to learn how to fly a radio-controlled (RC) model airplane or helicopter. It also offers a great way for experienced RC pilots to practice tricky maneuvers, without risking a crash with their actual aircraft.

In 2009, Brian sold all of his shares and interests in InertiaSoft to Michael.

Since then, InertiaSoft has continued to develop, market, and support FS One. Despite the core software being over a decade old, the graphics still look good today. Plus, FS One continues to have the "hyper-realistic" aerodynamics and superior handling that continue to make it an excellent RC flight simulator today.
